Soft watercolor sketch inspired by the Milky Way as the birthplace of many stars. Created at night, it considers a common cosmological premise: that the stars above reflect our experience on earth below. Hand-painted on Arches watercolor paper, using Ferris Wheel inks, ground up gold pastels and metallic ink. This work is signed on the back by the artist.
